I may be slightly addicted to AdvoCare products, but I’m okay with that.  They work, I feel awesome, and it’s allowed us to have a future that doesn’t suck.  So, COOKIES.

  • 1 cup almond flour or 1 cup of raw almonds made into almond flour in a food processor
  • 4-5 scoops chocolate Post Workout Recovery Powder (2 packets)
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup (or raw honey, I’m just obsessed with pure maple syrup)
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  1. Combine dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients; mix well.
  2. Dough will be sticky but drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet, then form into what looks like a cookie, unless you don’t mind ugly cookies.  Mine are ugly.  They will spread just a little tiny bit while baking, but they won’t rise, so don’t make them too thin or too thick.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 mins (NOTE:  Place oven racks closer to the upper middle of the oven).  While baking, prepare filling:
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 scoops vanilla Muscle Gain powder )
  • 3 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  1. Combine ingredients in a small container, refrigerate until cookies are cooled.  This will thicken while you wait.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people say that they “deserve” a cookie or cake or something nasty because they just worked out or they plan on working out later today or they joined a gym once.  I’m all about earning a cheat meal, but why cheat when you can have awesome cookies that help with feeding your muscles?!  Just saying.  Hope y’all like them!
