I am still trying to figure out how to do this whole blogging thing…who knew that having my iPhone glued to my hand would make me so technologically inept?! Anyway, I am an independent AdvoCare distributor, and I have found that while coaching my friends through the 24 Day Challenge, their main concern is what to eat, how to eat…while getting used to the concepts of clean and paleo eating myself, I discovered a lot of recipes on Pinterest that claim to be “healthy.” Apparently, a lot of people have different views on what is healthy than I do. To me, healthy means nutritious, not low calorie or low fat. While these options work for some people, they are not the options that I recommend to people trying to get healthy and lose weight on the 24 Day Challenge. Low fat usually = higher sodium.
Before getting started with AdvoCare, I was carrying around 50 lbs of baby weight and was a miserable stay at home mom with no energy and no sense of accomplishment. Since then, I’ve lost all the weight, am a MUCH more fun mom, and now I am able to contribute financially to my family as well. It has been an amazing feeling, and the best part is helping my friends and family to make the same changes!
